Tiny Acorns

Tiny Acorns is the name of our adult and toddler scheme. Just like in the company tag-line, this is where we lay down the foundations of who we are to become as we grow through childhood, on into adulthood, and beyond.

Research has shown that, in order for children to develop, they need the freedom to explore, get dirty, and push themselves to find their own physical limits. This scheme gives your children a safe environment for them to do just that, whilst cementing a base for a life long love and respect for nature and the outdoors.

This scheme is for children from 2 to 5 years and comprises a range of social, emotional, physical and sensory stimuli including:

Bug hunting
Story telling
Mud kitchens
Woodland hide and seek
Music making
And much more…

* Please note: your child will probably eat mud and get dirty. This is actually good for them. What healthy, well adjusted adult doesn’t have at least one story, wheeled out by a parent at the most embarrassing moment, of them having eaten a slug or a beetle at this age?
** The weather in Northern Ireland can be changeable so please bring children with clothing suitable for being out doors in a variety of conditions. Cold and wet or overly warm children are rarely the best craic.
